Located in the Alwar district, Sariska is one of the popular tourist destinations of Rajasthan. Sariska National Park or Sariska Tiger Reserve is considered as the attractive tourist destination of India. Spread in an area of 866 km, Sariska Tiger Reserve has been a hunting forest for royals of erstwhile Alwar state. However, after India’s independence in the year 1978, the forest became a tiger reserve zone protecting extinctive tigers in India.

Sariska India is situated at 107 km from Jaipur and 200 km from Delhi. Other than tigers, Sariska Tiger Reserve has leopard, jungle cat, caracal, striped hyena, golden jackal, chital, sambhar, nilgai, chinkara, four-horned antelope 'chousingha', wild boar, hare, hanuman langur, and thousands of other birds of various species. Besides, the forest houses 17th-century Kankwadi fort which was built by Rajput ruler of the land Jai Singh II.

Hotels in Sariska such as Sariska Tiger Heaven, the Sariska Palace, and many others offer extensive range of accommodation facilities to travelers at extremely affordable prices. Sariska hotels such as Hotel Tiger Den and other budget hotels charge very nominal tariff for accommodation facilities in Sariska. As there are plentitude of hotels and resorts in and around Sariska, accommodation in Sariska is not an issue and travelers seldom face any problem in staying in the place.

Sariska travel is full of fun and fiesta. As the place houses rich wildlife, Sariska is open whole year for tourists. However, winters are ideal days for travel to Sariska as temperature is moderate and Travelers can enjoy Jeep Safari comfortably.
