Established in the year 1936, Jim Corbett National Park is located in the foothills of Central Himalaya. Named after the hunter turned conservationist Jim Corbett, the park is safe zone for thousands of rare breeds of forest animals.  Corbett National Park is studded with Sal, Khair, Sissoo, Ber, Kuthber, Bel, Chbilla, Dhak, Semal, Khingan, Kharpat, Rohini, Bakli, Pula and Bamboo, etc. Remarkably, the place is keeping safe more than 400 species of plants and diverse wildlife.
